Earthwatch at Home:
Standalone Class Options
Class Overview
Each of our standalone, 90-minute classes is led by an environmental educator and includes live presentations from one or more Earthwatch scientists conducting climate change research around the world. Each class option includes live Q&A sessions and discussions with these leading scientists. In addition, our environmental educators will provide you with the training and resources you need to participate in a guided “offline” Earthwatch citizen science program that aims to reduce the decline of pollinators around the world.
Learn from climate scientists, connect with likeminded people, contribute directly to climate research, and get inspired to create real change in your community. *Please note that we also offer classes specifically for teens ages 15-18. See below for class dates and descriptions.

Participant Requirements
This course is geared towards adults ages 18 and up. No scientific background or experience is necessary to join. To participate in the presentations, discussions, and citizen science program, we ask that you have access to the following:
• A computer with internet capabilities and a functioning microphone
• Optional: A phone or camera of any type that is able to capture images in your backyard or community
Each class will be conducted via Zoom conferencing and we will be sharing educational resources via Google Classroom. YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
Earthwatch depends on donations—above and beyond what we raise from volunteers who participate on our expeditions—in order to deliver our global conservation mission. In fact, volunteer contributions provide only half of the total resources Earthwatch needs to sustain over 40 field research expeditions, a wide variety of educational programs, corporate sustainability trainings, and more each year.
