Jobs and Internships

Earthwatch is an environmental nonprofit organization that funds field research expeditions in nearly 30 countries around the world.

Earthwatch expeditions provide individuals with opportunities to participate in hands-on scientific research all over the world. We also partner with schools, businesses, governments, and other philanthropic organizations to enable a broad range of people to learn and change the world through our experiential model.

Staff members at Earthwatch develop, manage, market, and recruit for our varied expeditions, programs, and partnerships. Earthwatch does not employ the scientists or research staff that run the expeditions we support; they generally work for universities or other research institutions.

Earthwatch is an equal opportunity employer with a strong commitment to achieve excellence and diversity among our staff. Employment opportunities are provided to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital or parental status, or any other category protected by law.

We currently have the following positions available.

YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

Earthwatch depends on donations - above and beyond what we raise from volunteers who participate on our expeditions - in order to deliver our global conservation mission. In fact, volunteer contributions provide only half of the total resources Earthwatch needs to sustain over 40 field research expeditions, a wide variety of educational programs, corporate sustainability trainings, and more each year.
