I've always been interested in wildlife and more specifically in wild mammals. In 2009, I participated in monitoring the Alpine marmot population to help the scientific team. Now, in the second year of my thesis, I am part of this team! I am studying the influence of sociality (life in groups) on aging. Trying to understand how sociality affects aging is an intriguing question and Alpine marmots is the perfect species to study since they are both highly social and long-lived (up to 16 years).
