Narrow win in favour of putting a price-tag on nature

In a vibrant and passionate debate, speakers highlighted the pros and cons of assigning financial value to nature and its functions. A large audience at the Royal Geographical Society in London then voted to see which ‘side’ had convinced them and, by a very narrow margin, the win was recorded in favour of putting a price-tag on nature.
