Kuoni Travel is teaming up with Earthwatch to offer volunteering on Earthwatch research expeditions as part of its range of Ananea Holidays, a collection of socially and environmentally responsible travel experiences. Four of Earthwatch’s flagship projects are profiled in Kuoni’s Ananea e-brochure, and all 60 Earthwatch Expeditions can be booked through Kuoni.
By taking part in one of Earthwatch’s volunteer projects, Kuoni customers will actively support Earthwatch’s crucial research and make a vital contribution to protecting wildlife and enhancing livelihoods among the communities with which Earthwatch works. This collaboration offers an opportunity to make Earthwatch Expeditions available to a wider audience and help support vital long-term research.
“The concept of ananea, from the Greek word for ‘renewal,’ is all about unforgettable experiences, sustainability, and respectful travel,” explains Dagmar Marrocco, market manager for Kuoni. “People want to travel, learn about communities, and give something back. These are experiences for those whose urge to contribute is as strong as their desire to discover. It’s part of our mission to be a socially and environmentally aware tour operator.”
More intense experiences about sustainable travel can be found via Ananea.
