Earthwatch, the environmental charity, has launched a series of resources to bring environmental issues to life for 16 - 19 year olds. They aim to enrich students' and teachers' understanding of science and conservation and have been specifically designed to suit a range of subjects across General Certificate of Education A Levels, Scottish Certificate of Education Highers, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and vocational qualifications.
Earthwatch volunteers on Dolphins of the Ionian Sea expressed their artistic streak last month when they participated in 'body painting' with local children as part an educational activity day to raise public awareness, organised by researchers from the Tethys Research Institute in the village of Paleros, Greece.
