SustainaBall Sunday Field Trip
Sunday 14 September
To make the Earthwatch SustainaBall extra special, Earthwatch and the Sylva Foundation invite you to join a special field trip on Sunday 14 September, featuring a behind-the-scenes tour of future sustainable forestry research in Oxfordshire, a visit to Project Timescape at nearby Northmoor Trust, and a picnic on the historic Wittenham Clumps.
10.00 to 11.00 - Talk given by Dr Gabriel Hemery of the Sylva Foundation and Dr Dan Bebber of Earthwatch on each organisation's work in sustainable forests and forestry.
11.15 to 12.15 - Tour of a potential future site for development as a research centre utilised by the Sylva Foundation, Northmoor Trust, and Earthwatch. Joined by Jo Clark, Forestry Research Manager, Northmoor Trust.
12.30 to 13.15 - Visit to Project Timescape, Northmoor Trust.
Weather permitting...
13.15 to 14.00 - Walk up Wittenham Clumps
14.00 to 15.00 - Picnic lunch
15.00 to 15.30 - Walk back to Manor House and depart.
