Earthwatch Public Events 2008

 Kindly Supported by

The Mitsubishi Corporate Fund for Europe and Africa

At each of our public events you will have the opportunity to speak with leading scientists, Earthwatch volunteers and staff, and learn how you can get directly involved in conservation - whether by joining an Earthwatch project as a volunteer field researcher, helping us in our work as a supporter or donor, or by taking action in your own home or community.

All our public events are free and everyone is welcome. If you would like to make a donation on the day in support of our work this would be much appreciated.

Shrinking Habitats, Species Survival

Earthwatch Expeditions Open Day

Past Events for 2008

Dolphins Across the Med

The marine environment has long been one of our priority areas, and dolphins, perennial favourites, have featured in previous lectures on projects in waters as far afield as Scotland and Brazil. The lecture discussed the Mediterranean and where the work of our scientists is markedly complementary.

Ghanaian Communities and Conservation

Hippos, cocoa farming, manatees, rock fowls and community-based tourism.

The Earthwatch SustainaBall

Look at the photos and see how much we raised from our first ever Charity Ball! A big thank you to all who made it such a great success.
