EY

EY is an international corporation that provides four service lines- assurance, advisory, tax, and transaction advisory services. They help their clients fulfill regulatory requirements and meet stakeholder needs while giving them the support they need to be effective today and create long-term growth for tomorrow.

Since 2009, Earthwatch and EY have collaborated to implement the EY-Earthwatch Ambassadors Program—a global mobility engagement program in which high-performing early-career professionals are selected to participate in one-week Skills-Based Engagement programs to help solve environmental challenges. Each year, 40 Ambassadors employ their unique skill sets to support local conservation efforts in Peru, Mexico, Brazil, or Costa Rica by providing pro-bono consulting for local entrepreneurs, small businesses, and non-profits while also participating in dynamic environmental field research. Since 2009, participants have contributed over 13,000 hours assisting small businesses and conducting environmental research in Latin America.

The program helped me develop a global mindset and a stronger commitment towards my community and the environment. As a young professional, it was meaningful to experience EY’s investment in my career through this international leadership opportunity.

YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

Earthwatch depends on donations—above and beyond what we raise from volunteers who participate on our expeditions—in order to deliver our global conservation mission. In fact, volunteer contributions provide only half of the total resources Earthwatch needs to sustain over 40 field research expeditions, a wide variety of educational programs, corporate sustainability trainings, and more each year.
